The circular scalpel or mucosal punch for soft tissues is an instrument used to create a complete incision of the mucous membrane flap of the diameter of the positioned implant. Omnia offers scalpels with 3 different diameters; the three sizes allow it to be adapted to the main implants on sale. The disposable circular scalpel causes less trauma to the mucous membrane than the classic scalpel because the cut is limited to the size of the implant cap.
